New Teacher Center

Overview/History

New Teacher Center (NTC) is a national non-profit organization dedicated to improving student learning by guiding a new generation of educators. The NTC mission is to overcome challenges teachers and students face by providing all educators with the support and resources necessary to succeed from their first day to their last. By improving teacher effectiveness, we can deliver on the promise of public education and help bring equality in education to all children.

New Teacher Center combines two decades of experience with current research to lead best practices for teacher retention, educator development and accelerated student learning. Providing PreK-12 teachers and school leaders with evidence-based skills and supports needed to create optimal learning environments will help end educational inequity.
